ONLINE REGISTRATION
PROCEDURES FOR 2009-2010 ACADEMIC
SESSION FOR
BOTH FRESH AND REURNING STUDENTS
Please follow the instructions and processes below
carefully, you are advised in your own interest to adhere strictly to these
instructions. All feed back and responses are via e- mail, you are advised to
have an e-mail address registered before starting your registration. Scratch cards
can be purchased from any of the designated banks. Each card has an access code
neatly covered at the back of the card; scratch the covered area gently to
retrieve the access code on the card. The access codes are to be entered into
the portal exactly as they appear on those cards.
FRESH STUDENTS
All fresh students are expected to complete their
profile (bio data) update, pay school fees and register for their courses
online.
Update My Profile: To update your profile, take the following
steps.

on the submenu ‘Student Login’ under Important Links Menu
»
Enter
your Entry registration number and the default password unibuja,
which you can change to any password of your choice at login at the spaces
provided to access the student portal
»
At the
student portal, click on ‘Update My Profile’ menu option under the available
menu options
»
Complete
your profile update online and submit the form
Please note that only cleared students can have
access to update profile
School Fees: Only students that have successfully
completed the Profile Update would be allowed to pay school fees online. To pay school fees online follow these
procedures.

on the submenu ‘Student Login’ under Important Links Menu

Enter
your Entry registration number and the default password unibuja,
which you can change to any password of your choice at login at the spaces
provided to access the student portal
»
At
the student portal, click on ‘Payments’ at the top of the page to display the
menu options under payment
»
Click
on ‘My Fees’ menu to select the session and level you are paying for
»
Click
‘Pay School Fee’ option
»
Select
‘Pay with a Scratch Card’ option from the three options available
»
Enter
the access code on your scratch card exactly as it appears on the card and
click on Pay to pay your school fees
Other options available under the ‘Payments’ submenus
are ‘My Payment History’ and ‘My Receipts’
My Payment History – Allows you view all payments
made. You may choose from either of the following options under My Payment
History.

All My
Payments Till Date – Allows you view all Payments made
·
All My
Payments in the Current Session – Allows you view all payments
within a particular session
·
All My Payments Between Certain Dates –
Allows you view all payments within a selected period
My Receipts –
Allows you view and print all receipts of all payments made.
Course Registration: You can register for courses online only when
payments have been made for that session. To do your online course
registration, follow these steps.

the student portal, click on ‘My Registration’ menu option under the available
menu options to select the appropriate session and click on Register to access
your course form. The selected session identifies your level for that academic
session

Click
on ‘Add Courses’ to select and add courses you wish to register for in the
current session
»
Click
on ‘Add Previous Session Courses’ to select and course(s) you wish to register
for from previous session(s)
»
Click
on ‘Delete Courses’ to remove a course(s) from already selected or added
courses
Please note that
a course(s) selected may not be approved by your course adviser if you are not
meant to register for a particular course or when you have exceeded the number
of credit units for that session. A copy of your course form may be printed and
taken to your course adviser for approval. You are advised to adhere strictly
to the rules guiding course registration.
RETURNING STUDENTS
All returning students are expected to complete
their profile (bio data) update, pay school fees and register for their courses
online.

your Matriculation number and your password to access the student portal. Your
password is the same password you have been using to access the student portal.

the student portal, click on ‘Update My Profile’ menu option under the
available menu options

Complete

School Fees: Only students that have successfully
completed the Profile Update would be allowed to pay school fees online. To pay school fees online follow these
